Job summary

Easterseals Southern California, Inc. is seeking an experienced ABA assessor to conduct comprehensive evaluations and determine program eligibility for children with ASD.

You will work with families in home and community settings, use evidence-based ABA methods, and prepare timely assessment reports for review by a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree, be BCBA certified, and maintain CPR certification, with 3–5 years of ASD-related experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, early childhood education, or related field.
• BCBA certification current and maintained.
• 3–5 years of experience with children with ASD in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Expertise in ABA assessment and intervention based on science.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct assessment appointments with families in home and community.
• Utilize evidence-based ABA assessment techniques.
• Evaluate participants for ASD diagnosis and service eligibility.
• Review treatment overview, processes, and expectations with families.
• Submit final ABA assessment reports using templates on time each month.
• Track mileage and document appointments in the scheduling system and NPA.
• Maintain participant confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Stay current with ABA assessment methods through training.

Education
