Job summary

Dream Big Children’s Center in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a BCBA to oversee Masters level clinicians, supervise BCBA candidates, and lead the FBA process while guiding treatment plans based on naturalistic ABA.

You will mentor therapists, oversee center-based services, collaborate with families, analyze progress data, and help train new hires, with a full-time schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • BCBA certification in active standing.
  • Three years of ABA experience with children on the autism spectrum.
  • TB test and livescan clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Master’s level clinicians in the implementation of treatment plans and case management.
  • Provide BCBA supervision to supervisees seeking BCBA certification.
  • Oversee FBA process, including data review and goal writing.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs using naturalistic ABA principles.
  • Lead and mentor behavior consultants and therapists.
  • Oversee center-based services to enhance independence, social interaction and inclusion.
  • Provide in-person support at the center to foster inclusive, capable environments.
  • Collaborate with families to integrate ABA strategies into daily life.
  • Analyze data, monitor progress, and plan next steps in programming.

Schedule

This is a full-time role, and candidates must be available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Duties and responsibilities
  • To oversee Master’s level clinicians in the implementation of treatment plans and case management
  • To provide BCBA supervision to supervisees seeking certification as BCBA
  • To oversee Behavior Consultant in the FBA process, including reviewing data, and writing goals.
  • To develop a treatment plan specific to each individual’s needs that emphasizes the principles of naturalistic ABA
  • To lead, manage and hold accountable behavior consultants and therapists
  • To mentor and help develop behavior consultants and therapists to implement ABA effectively
  • To oversee center-based services and ensure that clinical goals focus on increasing independence, social interaction and inclusion
  • To provide in person support at the center, driving inclusion, interaction and independence and cultivating a culture of excellence
  • To collaborate with parents and families to integrate the use of ABA strategies in their everyday lives
  • To develop a therapeutic alliance with parents, family and the individual receiving services
  • To analyze data, monitor client progress and prepare program progression. Identify next step in programming and develop goals To review progress reports written by behavior consultants to ensure quality
  • To provide clinical supervision to behavior consultants by reviewing client progress and therapist performance
  • To help develop and present trainings for new hires and current staff
Physical requirements

Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, running, squatting, bending over, kneeling and sitting on the floor.

Qualifications
  • Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in active standing
