Job summary

New Patterns ABA FL in Jacksonville, FL seeks a dedicated BCBA to join our team. You will diagnose, assess, and treat behavioral disorders in children, creating individualized treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold BCBA certification and be licensed to practice in Florida.
• Experience with children with behavioral disorders is preferred.
• Strong data collection and program development skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess levels of functioning with standardized tools and FBA/FA.
• Develop detailed assessments, goals and programming.
• Provide coaching and supervise staff in program implementation.
• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs.
• Conduct Parent Training on targeted treatment goals.
• Coordinate with Clinical Supervisor and Director in regular meetings.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of behavioral disorders in children. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve overall quality of life.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Assess levels of functioning through specific standardized assessments as well as Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses.
• Develop meaningful and detailed assessments, treatment goals and programming to address the needs of each client.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff while overseeing implementation of programs with clients.
• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs being run.
• Conduct Parent Training on specific treatment goals that are meaningful to the family.
• Respond to parental concerns regarding programming and/or staffing issues by investigating, gathering information and reporting the the assigned Clinical Supervisor for resolution.
• Have flexible hours to be responsive to client needs.
• Communicate with The Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director on a regular basis and through monthly Leadership meetings and Supervision meetings.
