Ozark Center is seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to support the Autism Center under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst. The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) assists the Clinical Director, Behavior Analysts, the client and their families in progress toward specific goals. This person works under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst in completing functional behavior assessments and skill assessments, developing and monitoring behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans, completing progress reports, recording and analyzing data, conducting staff training, providing on-sight monitoring and working with a team of other professionals. BCaBA provides services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. BCaBA demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. BCaBA will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. BCaBA reports to the Clinical Director of the Autism Center.
Typical physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional team lifting to 200 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed. Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours and deal with irate individuals. May require evening and weekend hours. TB test upon hire.
