Job summary

Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN is seeking a full-time Neurohospitalist for inpatient-only care. The role involves inpatient stroke and general neurology, including ICU consults, on a 12-15 patient per day volume, with Epic EMR support.

Some responsibilities at Holston Valley HVMC and JCMC in TN are possible within a 15-mile radius. Employed position with relocation assistance, CME allowance, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology for inpatient practice.
• Experience as a Neurohospitalist with stroke and general neurology coverage.
• Familiarity with ICU consults and EEG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke and general neurology coverage including ICU consults.
• Handle consults on the acute medical floor and in the emergency department.
• Read routine and prolonged EEGs as part of neurology services.
• Collaborate with NP support and the health system EMR (Epic).

Bristol Regional Medical Center? (BRMC), a member of Ballad Health , is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Neurohospitalist for an inpatient-only opportunity.

BRMC, a 312-bed Level 3 trauma center located in Bristol, Tenesssee, is a primary stroke center. This role's primary location will be BRMC but will require some responsibilities at Holston Valley Medical Center (HVMC) in Kingsport, Tennessee and Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) in Johnson City, Tennessee which are each located 15 miles from Bristol.Ballad Health, a 21-hospital health system, covers a 29-county area and is made up of three tertiary facilities, 18 community/critical access hospitals, seven cancer centers, 18 Urgent Care locations and multiple specialty offices through its employed arm, Ballad Health Medical Associates, made up of over 800 physicians and advanced practitioners.

This position covers inpatient stroke and general neurology, including consults in the intensive care unit, general medical floor, and the emergency room and reading routine and prolonged EEGs.
