Job summary

Bronson Cancer Center - Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join its outpatient cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center – Kalamazoo, a facility opened in 2021.

This hospital-employed outpatient role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with call shared among the team. You will join a group of six oncologists/hematologists and six APPs supported by nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutrition and palliative care.

Qualifications

• BC/BE fellowship trained in hematology/oncology.
• Current unrestricted or pending Michigan medical license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medical oncology/hematology care as part of Bronson Cancer Center team.
• Share on-call duties with other physicians.
• Collaborate with nurse navigators, survivorship, social work, nutritional support and palliative care.

Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join its high-performing cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center – Kalamazoo which is a new cancer center that opened in January 2021.

Position Highlights:

• Candidate will join a practice consisting of 6 other medical oncologists/hematologists and 6 advanced practice providers, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care
• Opportunity to sub-specialize partially in treating cancer patients
• This is a hospital-employed outpatient position working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm
• Call shared equally with the other physicians in the team

Qualifications:

• BC/BE Fellowship Trained in Hematology/Oncology
• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care
