Job summary

Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center – Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo, MI.

The APP will work in a hospital-employed inpatient and outpatient setting, Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with inpatient rounding and admissions on a rotational basis. Ideal candidates have medical oncology/hematology experience and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Practice in Kalamazoo, outpatient and inpatient settings, with 8am–5pm schedule.
• See patients in outpatient setting and participate in inpatient work on a rotational basis with other APPs.
• No on‑call currently; possible APP leadership opportunities.

Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an experienced oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its high-performing cancer team at the Bronson Cancer Center – Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo, MI.

Position Highlights:

• Will practice in Kalamazoo five days per week at Bronson’s brand-new facility that opened in January 2021 and Bronson Methodist Hospital
• Will join a practice consisting of 7 medical oncology & hematology physicians, 6 advanced practice providers, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care
• This is a hospital-employed inpatient and outpatient position working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm
• APP will see patients in the outpatient setting and participate in inpatient work on a rotational basis with other APP to include rounding and admissions
• No call required currently
• Ideal Candidate will have Medical Oncology and Hematology experience
• Potential opportunity for an APP leadership role
