Job description

Northwell Health Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center

is seeking full-time physicians.

The Department of Neurology of Northwell Health - Hofstra Zucker School of Medicine in New York is looking for BC/BE full-time clinical/academic faculty members with Movement Disorders fellowship training. Responsibilities include providing excellent clinical care, engaging in innovative care models, participating in research, leading community programs, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

As the Movement Disorders program expands rapidly, we are recruiting additional faculty for our locations at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, Phelps Hospital in Westchester County, and Glen Cove Hospital in Long Island, which features an integrated outpatient-inpatient-surgical program.

Program Highlights
  • Northwell’s Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program is among the largest in the Northeast, offering comprehensive medical, rehabilitative, and surgical care, including deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).
  • Glen Cove Hospital has a specialized 14-bed inpatient unit for advanced Parkinson's and movement disorders care, recently certified by the Joint Commission, and recognized as a leading inpatient program in the US.
