Job description

  • Evaluate and treat children suspected of experiencing abuse or neglect.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to affected children and their families.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments.
  • Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as needed.
  • Participate in educational initiatives and training on child abuse prevention and recognition.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Child Abuse Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency.
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship.
  • Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license at the time of employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
