Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Weekend Baylor Registered Nurse, full time, to provide in-home care on a per-visit basis across Essex County and parts of Middlesex County. Weekend schedule options: Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

• A current MA Registered Nurse license is required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans and perform nursing duties in patients' homes.
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to supervisors.
• Document observations and follow doctors' orders accurately.
• Coordinate case management and care coordination activities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Baylor Registered Nurse, Full Time to join our team. This office services our adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis throughout Essex County and parts of Middlesex County. Weekend schedule would be Friday and Saturday OR Saturday and Sunday.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in MA.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
