NBC Bay Area is seeking a social-first Sports Creator & Host who can bring Bay Area sports to life across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, television, streaming and podcasts. This role demands real sports credibility and a strong personality, with the ability to create content from idea through execution.

You’ll pitch, report, shoot, write and edit compelling social content, cover breaking sports news and host a weekly NBC Bay Area sports show, collaborating with a newsroom and sponsorship teams,

Responsibilities

• Pitch, report, shoot, write and edit social-first content about Bay Area sports culture.
• Cover breaking sports news, major games, practices, press conferences and fan events.
• Go live from the field for digital, streaming and TV coverage.
• Host a weekly NBC Bay Area sports show and contribute to interviews, podcasts and streaming.
• Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, executives, fans and other personalities.
• Collaborate with the sports team, assignment desk, producers, editors and photographers.
• Develop sponsored content with marketing teams while maintaining audience trust.
• Engage Bay Area fans and build community around NBC Bay Area sports.
• Act as brand ambassador for NBC Bay Area and Telemundo 48 at events.
