Job summary

Epic is a digital reading platform for kids 12 and under, with a library of high-quality children’s books, audiobooks, and read-to-me titles. As a Strategic Partnerships Specialist, you’ll be Epic’s local, in-person presence in your community, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Your mission: help educators discover Epic and bring it into classrooms and libraries. You’ll work with schools and districts, building relationships with teachers, librarians, and school communities, helping educators

Qualifications

• Deep, active relationships in the Bay Area in education.
• Experience as a school librarian or district library director.
• Experience as a classroom teacher, especially ELA or reading.
• Passion for kids, books, and classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of 10–15 priority districts and schools, prioritized by tier.
• Ignite school-wide adoption with librarians and educators to scale usage.
• Lead back-to-school demos, PDs, literacy nights, and association events.
• Build district relationships to expand Epic reach and navigate approvals.
• Address local literacy goals and screen-time considerations in partnerships.
• Log activity and share learnings for the partnership playbook.
