Epic is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Specialist in the San Francisco Bay Area to bring Epic to educators and students in schools and libraries. You will cultivate relationships with teachers, librarians, and district leaders to expand adoption and usage of Epic in classrooms and media centers.

Qualifications

• Former school principal or education leader with deep, active relationships in the Bay Area.
• A current or former school librarian, library media specialist, or district library director
• A current or former classroom teacher, especially an ELA or reading teacher, pre-K through 7th grade
• A reading specialist, literacy coach, or instructional coach who supports K-8 teachers
• Familiarity with the K-8 education landscape and how teachers and librarians choose the tools they use
• Relationships with educators in your market: teachers, librarians, coaches, and school staff
• A genuine love of children’s books and getting kids reading
• Confidence presenting to teachers in staff meetings, libraries, or webinars
• A partnership instinct: comfort opening doors, following up, and moving from first conversation to lasting use
• A self-directed, organized work style and comfort with simple tracking tools like Google Sheets
• Reliable transportation to visit schools several days a week
• Comfort with a performance-based compensation component

Responsabilités

• Own your portfolio of 10 to 15 priority districts and their elementary and K-8 schools, prioritized by tier.
• Ignite school wide adoption by partnering with librarians and Epic champions to turn one user into a whole school.
• Lead short demos at back-to-school night and PDs at staff meetings, literacy nights, and association events.
• Unlock district doors by building relationships with district library services and instructional leaders to expand Epic reach.
• Champion healthy screen time by aligning with local literacy goals and school priorities.
• Track activity and contribute learnings to the partnership playbook and celebrate wins.
