Zusammenfassung

VIAVI Solutions is seeking a Bay Area-based Account Executive to grow optical and photonics business across the Bay Area and Western United States. You will build relationships with key photonics, semiconductor, datacenter and communications accounts, and coordinate VIAVI technical resources to support design, validation and manufacturing-test requirements.

You will develop territory plans, qualify opportunities, maintain forecasts in CRM, and position VIAVI’s photonics portfolio for customers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• 1–3 years in technical sales, applications engineering or related roles.
• Foundational understanding of fiber optics and photonics.
• Ability to work with VIAVI MAP products and customer test workflows.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills for engineers and decision-makers.
• Organizational skills, initiative, and multi-account management.
• Willingness to travel across North America.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute territory and account plans for photonic components and telecom hardware.
• Identify and grow new business in existing accounts.
• Build relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and management.
• Prospect, qualify, and manage opportunities through closure with forecasts and CRM records.
• Position VIAVI photonic portfolio for optical development and manufacturing.
• Coordinate technical discovery, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept.
• Collaborate with applications engineering, product management, and support teams.
• Travel throughout North America as required.
