All Hands On Deck, Inc. is seeking a Philanthropic Advisor to build and manage a portfolio of major donors, with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves cultivating donors, soliciting gifts of $10,000+ and coordinating engagement strategies across MVP initiatives.

You will report to the Western Regional Philanthropic Director and collaborate with donor team members. The ideal candidate combines relationship-building with strong organizational skills and a passion for advancing

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience soliciting major gifts ($10,000+) and prospecting for new donors.
• Portfolio management experience with a track record of managing major donors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal administrative support.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of and passion for social justice, progressive movements, and/or Democratic politics.
• Familiarity with the philanthropic landscape in the Bay Area.
• Current residence in one of the Bay Area counties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects (~150).
• Create individualized engagement and stewardship plans for each donor.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with donors for cultivation and solicitation.
• Prospect and qualify new potential donors.
• Maintain confidential donor interactions and data accuracy.
• Identify creative donor engagement opportunities and events.
• Collaborate with leadership on fundraising strategies.
