Job summary

Dynamic is seeking a Project Manager – Engineering to oversee diverse civil construction projects across the Bay Area from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety, and client relations, coordinating with field teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering and 8+ years in construction, including heavy civil work. Hybrid work in Novato allowed with travel within the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in construction with 3+ years heavy civil/related projects.
• Proven success leading projects up to $10M.
• Strong project controls, forecasting, WIP, cost management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for project execution from award to closeout, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Lead transition from estimating to operations by validating budgets, risks, and execution plans with leadership and field teams.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement, including scope alignment and buyout negotiations.
• Build and maintain project schedules, coordinating with field leadership to track milestones and recover from delays.
• Monitor costs, productivity, cash flow, and profitability; prepare forecasts and cost-to-complete reporting.
