Job summary

KBR Careers is looking for an Intermediate Battlespace Awareness Operator to work independently in a 24/7 operational environment, executing critical tasks in mission protection and situational awareness.

The candidate will be responsible for leading event characterization, maintaining high-interest RSO custody, and producing accurate operational briefings. High-level experience in space operations and an active Top Secret clearance are required. This position offers a competitive salary between $97,000 and $145,500, along with various benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or no degree and 10 years of relevant experience with expertise.
• Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Experience in space domain awareness, space operations, or mission protection functions in a high-tempo environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess SDA tools and threat reporting to identify significant space events.
• Lead event characterization and provide COA recommendations to mission leadership.
• Mentor junior operators and provide training during shifts.
