Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I in Hawaii to accurately complete distribution center tasks using RF barcode scanners, various material handling equipment, and WMS applications. You will process receiving, transferring, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role involves loading/unloading batteries, restocking, battery testing and dating, and general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required, warehouse experience preferred including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate forklift and maintain certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• General warehousing duties and housekeeping.
• Multi-task between functions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
