Job summary

Excelon Solutions is seeking a highly skilled CFD/thermal engineering researcher to develop and apply advanced thermal models. The role focuses on converting power maps into accurate thermal outputs and evaluating boundary conditions at multiple subsystem levels using CFD tools.

You will build reusable templates, optimize workflows, and collaborate with CAE vendors to push thermal modeling capabilities. AEDT/ICEPAK proficiency and Python scripting are essential.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD with at least 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong CFD and thermal modeling background required.
• AEDT with ICEPAK expertise is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Generate models to convert power maps into thermal outputs.
• Run advanced thermal/CFD simulations at cell, pack, and BMS levels.
• Develop reusable templates and optimized workflows for simulations.
• Collaborate with CAE vendors to improve functionality.
• Extract Reduced Order Models (ROM) from CFD results for rapid studies.
