You will develop multi-physics thermal models of cells, packs, and subsystems using AEDT ICEPAK and CFD tools, and generate reusable templates for complex simulations. The ideal candidate has an MS or PhD in mechanical engineering with 3+ years of industry experience, expert AEDT/ICEPAK skills, and proficiency in Python.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD plus 3 years of industry experience.
• Mechanical engineering background with a strong CFD and thermal modeling foundation.
• MUST HAVE AEDT ICEPAK expertise within AEDT.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Valid US work visa with no export compliance restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Generate models/capability to convert power maps into thermal outputs.
• Perform advanced thermal/CFD simulations at cell, pack, and subsystem levels.
• Use best-in-class tools and solvers to create simulation models and results.
• Develop optimized workflows and reusable templates for recurring simulations.
• Develop and implement thermal modeling best practices.
• Collaborate with CAE vendors to improve functionality.
• Explore new analysis types and solutions, including topological optimization.
• Extract Reduced Order Models from CFD simulations to accelerate studies.
