Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a qualified laboratory technician in Morrisville, NC to perform testing on battery cells, packs, and charging equipment. You will collaborate with engineering to apply test requirements, troubleshoot equipment, and build intermediate test harnesses while maintaining thorough records.

The role emphasizes safe handling of high voltage components, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic electronics

Qualifications

• A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Preferred: Four or more years of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on battery cells, battery packs, and battery charging equipment.
• Troubleshoot defective lab equipment and provide maintenance.
• Assemble fixtures and test setups; perform intermediate design functions.
• Document and maintain records of work performed.
• Inform supervisor of process, test, or design problems and assist in corrective action.
• Perform inspection, test, and failure analysis as needed.
• Create test documentation for prototypes when engineering instructions are unavailable.
• Communicate professionally with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
• Support 5S related activities.
