Job summary

Amprius Technologies, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Engineering Team. You will perform battery cell tests, manage testing equipment, and compile inspection reports to deliver accurate data for timely product decisions.

The position reports to the Sr. Director of Engineering. Responsibilities include executing cycling tests, safety and environmental tests, maintaining lab equipment, and writing test plans, SOPs, and CAPA under ISO 9001.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience with battery testing methods and equipment.
Strong technical background.

Responsibilities

Run battery cell tests including cycling, capacity checks, EIS, and environmental chamber tests.
Set up test schedules, fixtures, thermocouples, and wiring.
Operate Arbin and Neware testers and manage test data.
Support safety and environmental testing to UN38.3/IEC standards.
Document results, SOPs, and CAPA/ISO 9001 compliant records.
Collaborate with teams to support IQC and test development.
Maintain safety and efficient operation of test lab.
