Job summary

Amprius Technologies, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Engineering Team by performing battery tests and compiling inspection reports. The role ensures the team has accurate, timely data for informed product decisions, reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities include executing cell tests with Arbin and Neware testers, managing equipment, maintaining safety and quality documentation, and supporting cross‑functional IQCs and CAPAs under ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of battery testing experience.
• Strong technical background.

Responsibilities

• Execute cell tests including charge/discharge cycling, rate capability, capacity checks, formation, DCIR/HPPC, temperature tests, and EIS.
• Manage testing equipment and environments (Arbin, Neware, environmental chambers).
• Create data summary reports and inspection reports; write SOPs and test plans.
• Support IQCs, CAPAs, ECOs and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Provide cross-functional support for development and testing of cells and components.
• Uphold safety practices and stop tests when abnormal.
