Amazon Leo is seeking a Battery Test Engineer in Redmond, WA to own battery pack and PCBAs testing from requirements to final reporting. The Amazon LEO Battery Test & Validation team develops and executes test solutions that ensure battery hardware meets performance, reliability, and mission requirements. Our team supports battery packs and battery electronics throughout development, qualification, and production, partnering closely with Battery, Electrical, Systems, Mechanical, Software, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams.
As a Battery Test Engineer, you will own battery pack and PCBA level testing from requirements through final test reporting. You will work cross functionally with engineering stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into test objectives and pass/fail criteria, develop test plans and procedures, build or configure test setups, complete test readiness activities, execute testing, analyze results, and communicate findings.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical judgment, structured troubleshooting, and the ability to take ambiguous test needs and turn them into repeatable, well-documented test campaigns.
