Job summary

Everforth Apex in Redmond, WA is seeking a Systems Engineer III to execute battery validation activities for satellite development. You will perform functional, environmental, electrical, and reliability tests on battery packs, and develop automated test sequences using Python and lab hardware.

You will analyze large telemetry datasets, document findings, communicate results to stakeholders, and contribute to test procedures, validation plans, and lab efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in test, validation, manufacturing, or product development.
• Experience executing test plans, documenting results, and analyzing data with Python/JMP or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute battery pack validation testing: functional, environmental, electrical, and reliability tests.
• Develop automated test sequences for routine/overnight testing using Python and test hardware.
• Perform root cause analysis on hardware, test systems, and failures using structured methods.
• Troubleshoot battery test equipment, instrumentation, and automated test systems.
• Analyze large volumes of battery data to identify trends and failure mechanisms.
• Document technical findings and provide clear recommendations and corrective actions.
• Present findings to stakeholders and support design reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve test methods, automation, and lab efficiency.
• Help develop test procedures, work instructions, and validation plans.
