Meta’s Reality Labs is seeking a Battery System Engineer to own battery pack electrical designs and their integration into state-of-the-art devices. You’ll collaborate with product engineering, safety, reliability, and software teams to meet performance targets, volumes, weight, and run time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with 6+ years Li-ion battery design experience.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and visualization (Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, backend services, or test-data systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver battery packs per requirements.
• Develop electrical and interconnect architectures for BMS.
• Develop tests and plans for manufacturing and characterization of packs.
• Build and own data pipelines ingesting battery test data.
• Support hardware integration and system performance analysis.
• Travel domestically and internationally to suppliers and labs.
