Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer - Battery to support new program launches through advanced planning, logistics optimization, and cost estimation. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations to develop scalable supply chain solutions that drive efficiency and growth.

The role emphasizes SAP familiarity, PFEP tooling, and ERP integration, with a focus on standardizing plant routines, training teams, and ensuring compliance across systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Purchasing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, transportation, or materials management.
• Experience managing external logistics flows and supply chain operations in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced supply chain planning activities for new product launches in partnership with Program Purchasing and Engineering teams.
• Develop logistics and packaging cost estimates and provide RFQ support throughout the lifecycle.
• Serve as SME for planning tools like PFEP, Supply Chain Estimator, and CPF.
• Establish and monitor logistics and packaging investment targets for development programs.
• Maintain and improve regional and global supply chain procedures and work instructions.
• Partner with Information Systems as the key user representative to prioritize system enhancements.
