Job summary

Mural Group Industrial is hiring Battery Room Technicians in Memphis, TN to maintain and charge our forklift fleet for a 24/7 operation. This W-2 role features fixed schedules across multiple shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of battery room or related maintenance experience, knowledge of lead-acid procedures, and strong safety discipline. Training provided for role-specific tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years hands-on battery room/industrial maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with lead-acid battery maintenance (watering, equalization, SG testing).
• OSHA safety protocol experience and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lead-acid battery maintenance (watering, cleaning, equalization, capacity testing).
• Execute battery changeouts to keep lift trucks running.
• Inspect chargers, connectors, and cables; perform basic repairs and escalate issues.
• Monitor charge/discharge cycles and maintain maintenance logs.
• Troubleshoot batteries with voltmeters, hydrometers, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant battery room.
