Job summary

Cirba Solutions is seeking a Process Safety Manager to lead the development and implementation of process safety systems at a battery recycling facility. The role focuses on safe handling of lithium‑ion batteries, reducing fire and chemical risks, and ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, NFPA codes, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, NFPA standards.
• Experience with hazard analyses (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of process safety systems in battery recycling facility.
• Manage hazard analysis and risk management for battery dismantling, shredding, and chemical recovery.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, NFPA codes and local regulations.
• Lead incident investigations and develop emergency response plans.
• Train employees on safe handling of lithium‑ion batteries and chemical hazards.
• Monitor safety KPIs and drive continuous improvements in facility design and PPE usage.
