Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a data analytics specialist with EV battery domain experience. The role focuses on building ML models, preprocessing data, and developing dashboards to visualize battery diagnostics.

Candidates should have a full-time bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 4–6 years in battery domain plus 3–5 years in data analytics. Proficiency in Python, Spark, and big data is essential for this position.

Job Description

• Experience: In EV Battery Domain and data analytics
• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Python, Spark, and Big data with Battery Domain experience.
• Educational/Professional Qualifications: A full-time bachelor’s degree or preferably Master’s Degree
• 4-6 yrs. experience in Battery and related skills:
• Overall, Domain knowledge /experience working on battery pack & cell chemistries.
• Work experience on battery pack related faults and failures.
• Good Knowledge on different battery degradation mechanisms and failures shall be an advantage.
• Experience on battery pack testing and test case writing - specific requirement related testing.
• Good Knowledge on the BMS functionalities
• Good knowledge of various SOC, SOH & SOP algorithms, their development and correlation between them and different degradation mechanisms.
• 3-5 yrs. experience in data analytic skills
• Data preprocessing, data quality and integrity checks, data base creation and maintenance
• Data Analysis and Machine learning techniques implementation
• Good knowledge on ML & AI algorithms and their deployment using python
• Good knowledge on PyCharm & PyTorch like packages in python to develop ML models
• Collect data and perform analysis, interpret to help build algorithms.
• Develop dashboards and GUIs for data visualization
