Job description

Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., is seeking full-time Battery Assembly Technicians to join our team at our Methuen, MA facility. Technicians will perform routine Lithium‑ion cell and battery assembly tasks. These tasks include working with hazardous materials, dry powder processes stamping electrodes, preparing assembly components, soldering and welding. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in lithium‑ion cell manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to follow standard operating procedures for materials handling and preparation.
• Hands on skills required for operations including weighing, cleaning equipment, processing, and performing assembly tasks.
• Comfortable with hand tools and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Able to track components/inventory during production activities and record relevant information in production logs.
• Able to work in a dry room environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong English communication, reading, and comprehension skills are essential for following safety procedures, production instructions, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with soldering or ultrasonic welding a plus
• Experience with full face respirators a plus

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Pay Range: The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $57K–$62K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
