Job summary

Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., seeks full-time Battery Assembly Technicians for our Methuen, MA facility. You will perform routine lithium-ion cell and battery assembly tasks, including soldering/welding, handling hazardous materials, and working in a dry room environment.

Candidates should be detail oriented, able to follow SOPs, and comfortable with hand tools and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to follow standard operating procedures for materials handling and preparation.
• Hands on skills required for operations including weighing, cleaning equipment, processing, and performing assembly tasks.
• Comfortable with hand tools and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Able to track components/inventory during production activities and record relevant information in production logs.
• Able to work in a dry room environment.
• Strong English communication, reading, and comprehension skills are essential for safety procedures, production instructions, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with soldering or ultrasonic welding a plus
• Experience with full face respirators a plus

Responsibilities

Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., is seeking full-time Battery Assembly Technicians to join our team at our Methuen, MA facility. Technicians will perform routine Lithium-ion cell and battery assembly tasks. These tasks include working with hazardous materials, dry powder processes stamping electrodes, preparing assembly components, soldering and welding. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in lithium-ion cell manufacturing.

Individuals Must Be

Pay Range:

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $57K–$62K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
