Job summary

Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., is seeking full-time Battery Assembly Technicians at our Methuen, MA facility. You will perform routine Li-ion cell and battery assembly tasks, handle hazardous materials, and work in a dry room. Soldering and welding experience are a plus, with strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

The role requires detail orientation, hands-on assembly skills, and proficiency with MS Office. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to follow SOPs for materials handling and preparation.
• Hands-on skills for operations including weighing, cleaning equipment, processing, and assembly.
• Comfortable with hand tools and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to track components/inventory and record information in production logs.
• Able to work in a dry room environment.
• Strong MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency.
• Strong English communication, reading, and comprehension for safety and documentation.
• Experience with soldering or ultrasonic welding a plus.
• Experience with full face respirators a plus.

Imperia Batteries, a division of Physical Sciences Inc., is seeking full-time Battery Assembly Technicians to join our team at our Methuen, MA facility. Technicians will perform routine Lithium-ion cell and battery assembly tasks. These tasks include working with hazardous materials, dry powder processes stamping electrodes, preparing assembly components, soldering and welding. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in lithium-ion cell manufacturing.
Individuals Must Be

• Detail oriented and able to follow standard operating procedures for materials handling and preparation.
• Hands on skills required for operations including weighing, cleaning equipment, processing, and performing assembly tasks.
• Comfortable with hand tools and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Able to track components/inventory during production activities and record relevant information in production logs.
• Able to work in a dry room environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong English communication, reading, and comprehension skills are essential for following safety procedures, production instructions, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with soldering or ultrasonic welding a plus
• Experience with full face respirators a plus

U.S. Citizenship Is Required.
Pay Range: The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $57K–$62K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
