Job summary

Stryten Energy is hiring Production Operators in Salina, Kansas, to operate safely and efficiently on the production line with opportunities to learn other positions. This role offers A/B/C/D shift schedules and a starting pay of $23.96 per hour, plus bonus opportunities such as quarterly attendance, gainshare, and production bonuses.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and mechanical aptitude; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repeatably lift and handle battery parts, envelopes and batteries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Continuously load plates into feed magazines and hand stack positive and negative plates.
• Perform first-piece set-up, weld breaks, and weld analysis.
• Process 1,000–2,400 batteries per 10‑hour shift.
• Work with a team around electrical machinery, torches and lead melting pots.
• Learn and follow quality control specifications and maintain SPC charts and other documents.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area per 5S.
• Follow safety, health and quality system regulations, including PPE.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
