Job summary

Stryten Energy in Salina, Kansas is hiring a Production Operator to join a safety‑minded team. You will work in battery assembly, pasting, oxide, and formation, with a starting pay of $23.96 per hour and multiple shifts available.

The role requires lifting, standing, and adherence to 5S and quality controls, with opportunities for attendance, gainshare, and production bonuses. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to communicate in basic English.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must follow safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment and learn multiple positions on the line.

Responsibilities

• Lift and handle battery parts, up to 50 pounds, repeatedly.
• Load plates into feed magazines and stack plates by hand.
• Perform setup, weld breaks and weld analysis as required.
• Process 1000–2400 batteries per 10-hour shift.
• Work with electrical machinery, torches, lead melting pots and conveyors.
