Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer II to drive process performance and yield improvement in electrode manufacturing.

You will act as a technical expert, lead complex troubleshooting, run DOE projects, and partner with Production, Quality, Equipment Engineering, Maintenance, and R&D to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost. Responsibilities include leading CAPA investigations, analyzing data, developing PFMEA, SOPs, and improving key metrics such as OEE and cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field required.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing engineering experience in high‑volume settings.
• Experience with electrode manufacturing processes (mixing, coating, drying, calendering, slitting) preferred.
• Proven record leading process improvement and cross‑functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of complex process and quality issues and implement CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, variation sources, and opportunities.
• Design, execute, and lead DOE activities to optimize capability, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Own KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and productivity.
• Lead qualification activities for new materials, equipment, tooling, and process technologies.
• Develop technical reports and present findings to plant leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and other problem-solving methods.
• Mentor Process Engineer I staff and production personnel on process technologies and troubleshooting.
