Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, manufacturing, materials, or industrial engineering or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering, battery/manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience planning trials, analyzing data, and documenting results.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead development, troubleshooting, and improving processes from roll press through electrolyte fill.
  • Execute trials, experiments, development builds, and document conditions, results, defects, and recommendations.
  • Develop process settings, operating windows, standard work, inspection methods, and requirements across steps.
  • Use process data, root-cause analysis, DOE, capability studies, and SPC to investigate defects and verify results.
  • Coordinate with technicians, controls, quality, materials, product engineering, and suppliers; communicate results clearly.
  • Follow GM requirements for battery handling, dry-room operations, electrolyte, chemicals, equipment, and safe practices.
