Publix Super Markets is seeking an Industrial Maintenance technician in North Carolina to perform preventive maintenance on powered industrial equipment and batteries, following company policy and regulatory guidelines. The role requires the ability to lift 40 lbs, operate equipment, and work nights/weekends as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a maintenance background, be self-motivated, and able to use a CMMS to document work.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read, write and solve math problems.
• Must complete Computation, Following Written Directions, Space Visualization, Mechanical Aptitude tests before start date.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• Experience with CMMS and equipment maintenance.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
