Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking an Industrial Maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment batteries and assist in other duties. You will follow safety rules, inspect and service batteries, and help ensure reliable operation in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidates may hold an Industrial Maintenance associate, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama)
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems
• Complete required tests before start date

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
