Job summary

Publix is seeking an Industrial Maintenance associate to perform preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment batteries and support related tasks in our facility environment.

The role requires 18+ years of age (19+ in Alabama), ability to lift 40 pounds, willingness to work nights/weekends/holidays, and a valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle if assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or at least 19 years old for positions in Alabama.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Successfully complete tests before start date: Computation, Following Written Directions, Space Visualization, Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
