Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is seeking a Machine Operator for a leading acid battery manufacturer in Clarksville, TN. The role offers $15.00 per hour with a rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

Responsibilities include monitoring machine operation, inspecting materials, and performing additional duties as required. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 3 months (or more) of machine operator experience, and be able to lift up to 25 lbs, read safety documents, and comply with

Qualifications

Possess High School Diploma or GED.
Has 3 months Machine Operator experience.
Able to lift up to 25lbs.
Willing to take a Physical Exam.
Able to read documents as safety rules, operating and operator level maintenance instructions and procedures.
Capable of working in a noisy, loud environment.
Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots, Safety Eyewear, respirator, and earplugs.

Responsibilities

Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and to ensure that outputs conform to specifications.
Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
Will perform additional duties as required.
Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential.
