Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Facilities, or Construction Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of facility engineering, industrialization, capital project execution, or manufacturing development experience in battery manufacturing.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, engineering consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Experience with equipment installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and qualification.
• PE or PMP certification preferred; lithium-ion battery facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility planning for new battery module, pack, and system manufacturing operations.
• Manage engineering deliverables, risks, changes, schedules, and budgets with clear trade-off recommendations.
• Define equipment and process requirements; evaluate supplier proposals and verify compliance with specs.
• Lead or support installation, FAT/SAT, process validation, and issue resolution to demonstrate safety and production performance.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, trials, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Support production ramp-up, improve yield and throughput, and hand over to operations and maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency and reduce operating costs.
