Job summary

Trojan Battery is seeking Finishing Operators to fill batteries with acid, cap them correctly, and perform quality inspections on the production line. The role requires wearing PPE, handling heavy lifting, and working in a high-temperature environment within a lead-acid battery plant.

Level I–III tasks include operating tools and equipment, performing setup and tests, and ensuring production meets quality standards. Experience in manufacturing and basic math helps ensure precise results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or greater required.
• 2-3 years manufacturing/plant experience preferred.
• Basic English proficiency to interpret work instructions.
• Basic math proficiency (add/sub/multiply/divide).
• Must be clean shaven.

Responsibilities

• Fill batteries with acid to proper level and apply caps correctly.
• Perform visual inspections for acid levels and cosmetic defects.
• Operate and learn machine controls and gauges.
• Lift 50–80 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Work in a lead acid battery plant with PPE.
• Meet production and quality requirements.
