We are seeking a Battery Engineer to join a premier manufacturer of custom battery systems and battery control electronics serving both military and commercial aerospace platforms. The Battery Engineer is responsible for design, development, and testing of both new and existing battery systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of advanced cell and battery architectures that meet stringent aerospace requirements.
• Perform modeling and parameter analysis to optimize cell and battery designs.
• Work closely with Mechanical Engineers to ensure proper cell packaging and integration.
• Support the design of test regimes to characterize and validate performance at the cell and battery level.
• Prepare technical reports to communicate test results and performance characteristics to internal and external customers.
• Assist in sustaining engineering activities to enhance the performance and reliability of existing battery products.
• Analyze returned battery units (RMAs), identify root causes, and contribute to corrective action plans.
• Provide technical data to Sales & Marketing to help position our products effectively in the market.
