Job summary

Motive Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to service batteries, battery chargers, and handling equipment in Anaheim, CA. The role requires coordinating multiple daily calls and delivering high-quality customer support.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in battery or related experience, and a CDL with hazmat or ability to obtain one. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in battery industry or related field; field service experience preferred.
• CDL with hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Fill out work orders accurately and promptly.
• Communicate all information to the proper contact at customer site to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify safety and EPA issues and recommend actions.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping at customer sites, shops, and during operations.
• Drive company vehicle safely and considerately.
• Report customer issues to Management and Sales.
• Promote POS items and allied products/services.
• Represent Motive Energy professionally.
• Operate forklift and reach truck regularly.
