Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Controls Engineer for the Battery group in Liberty, NC. You will set up and verify data analytics systems for battery manufacturing, and oversee data collection control requirements while training local NAMC team members.

The role requires PLC programming and experience with SCADA, SQL databases, and network infrastructure. Occasional domestic/international travel and strong teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with manufacturing network systems validation and launch.
• PLC programming and reading/interpreting PLC logic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and verify data analytics systems for battery manufacturing.
• Coordinate internal control requirements for data collection.
• Train NAMC team members on new systems.
• Support network system implementation and visualization for line status.
