Job summary

Jobtailor in Dearborn, Missouri, seeks a senior engineer to implement requirements using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow and C, and to validate model-based designs with MIL/SIL desktop tools. You will collaborate across teams to develop controls requirements, and you will develop and maintain design documentation.

You will also support tools development, static analysis, and software configuration management, while analyzing field data to resolve issues related to model and code implementation, and

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow development
  • 5+ years of Control System software design
  • 5+ years of C and/or C++
  • M.S./PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Able to function and learn in cross-discipline between Software Implementation and Controls Design (preferred)
  • Understanding of Hybrid Battery and Hybrid Vehicle operations (preferred)
  • Knowledge of hybrid/electric vehicle configurations and controls; project management preferred
  • Understanding of operation and power electronic controls of BMS, DCDC, Charger and Motor Inverter (preferred)
  • Experience with Autosar (preferred)
  • Excellent teamwork, written and oral communication skills (preferred)
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks (preferred)
