Job summary

Gotion Inc. is building a manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and advancing EV battery technology worldwide. This Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on stabilizing Pack/Module pilot production lines to meet yield, throughput, and OEE targets.

You will collaborate with Quality and other teams, support process qualification, drive continuous improvement, and train production staff. A 5+ year background in Manufacturing Engineering and a relevant engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in Pack/Module assembly processes.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical/Materials Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable manufacturing processes in Pack/Module pilot production line, hitting target yield, capabilities, throughput, and OEE.
• Collaborate with Quality and other teams on control plans and in-process quality checks.
• Support initial process qualification, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate problem-solving using quality tools.
• Develop and maintain process documents, conduct training for production employees.
