Job summary

Gotion Inc. is a Silicon Valley–based company expanding with a manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL, and R&D centers worldwide. The role focuses on stabilizing Pack/Module manufacturing processes, collaborating with quality teams, and driving continuous improvement in production environments.

The candidate will qualify processes, develop documentation, and train staff while aligning with company goals in electrified transportation and energy storage technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in Pack/Module assembly processes.
• BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical/Materials Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable manufacturing processes in Pack/Module pilot production line, hitting target yield, capabilities, throughput, and OEE.
• Collaborate with Quality and other teams on control plans and in-process quality checks.
• Support initial process qualification, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate problem-solving using quality tools.
• Develop and maintain process documents, conduct training for production employees.
