Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a small team in a fast-paced battery cell manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity while delivering parts on time and maintaining high standards.

You will manage daily operations, coach operators, and collaborate with other supervisors to optimize production and equipment usage. Prior experience in automotive or battery cell settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of team management experience with 10+ direct reports.
• 2+ years in manufacturing supervision in automotive or battery cell settings.
• Strong supervision, coaching, and performance management skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with AGVs and conveyor-based material handling.
• Excellent safety, quality, and productivity focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of about five operators per shift to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Oversee unpack room production activities per orders, inventory and process guidelines.
• Ensure daily/weekly production plans are completed and parts delivered on time with quality.
• Develop and implement management systems for production, equipment, safety, and metrics.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, and cross-shift operational flow.
• Monitor production data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
• Promote positive employee relations and support Kaizen initiatives.
